“Potty”. “Training”. Whether you are a newbie encountering the process or a veteran trainer, those two words can incite frustration, fear, and (with enough patience and time) victory.
Alona Frankel understood this experience all too well. She created the first of the Once Upon a Potty books to help her young son understand the idea of potty training by using a simple story and brightly colored illustrations. The book quickly gained popularity amongst her friends then took off when a local publisher took the story to a book fair.
Now, more than 30 years later, a new generation of parents are coming to rely on the classic children’s books. Fifteen bloggers have received Once Upon a Potty — Boy and Once Upon a Potty — Girl. What will they (and any junior critics) think? Stay tuned…
