White Trash Mom Campaign Launch; Burger King Blog Blast; New Parent Bloggers Network Baby
When we heard blogger and writer Michelle Lamar, along with co-author Molly Wendland, had taken the blog White Trash Mom (brilliant name!) and turned it into a book of the same name, we had to check it out. And we’re not surprised that reviewers are already raving about this so-called “Girlfriend’s Guide to Pregnancy” for the School Years.
Whether you fully embrace a White Trash Mom mantra as part of your parenting routine or actually use duct tape to tape ducts (is that really what it’s for?), the book speaks to all parents who deal with trying to do the best they can without sending their kids straight to the therapy couch.
Our parent bloggers will be reading White Trash Mom — make sure to follow along and check out what they’re saying, and snag a copy for yourself.

Burger King Blog Blast: Are you THAT Family?
As parents, we’ve all taken our kids out to eat, and many us have paid the hard price of trying to enjoy a meal with a little one (or ones) sitting at the same table.
Tell us your “dinner out with the kids” horror story - and tell us what you do now to avoid the food on the walls, juice on the table, and sanity gone totally out the window. Do you just not go out with them anymore? Do you bring a babysitter? Or do you stash some sort of magic toy that occupies them while you scarf down your meal?
We’re teaming up with Burger King to promote their new promotional kids’ meal toys by Crayola - perfect for boys or girls, and definitely worth tucking into your bag before heading out to eat.
Make sure to link http://www.ClubBK.com and http://blog.parentbloggers.com somewhere in your post. Also, please include the following blurb:
“This post was written for Parent Bloggers Network as part of a sweepstakes sponsored by Burger King Corp.”
Then email us the link to your post at parentbloggers@gmail.com.
We’ll be linking them up on our blog all weekend long, so be creative with your title!
Two lucky winners will be drawn at random. Only available in the U.S.

Why are prizes only available in the US? I’ve noticed this a few times . . .
