BOCA Blog Blast Announcement: Bikini Blues
It’s that time of year again. You breeze into the swimsuit department, feeling good and looking fine - until you squeeze into a suit and inspect yourself in that terribly lit dressing room in front of that awful three-way mirror. Never mind that no one at the beach will look twice at your dimpled thighs; if you’re like most women, you are your own harshest critic.
Do you love swimsuit shopping? Dread it? Even after having children, are you a bikini devotee? Or have you moved on to “mom suits”? Tell us about the evolution of your swimsuit wearing and how you prepare for the “big reveal” - and feel free to bravely go where few women have gone before, and share pictures!
We’re teaming up with BOCA to promote their new “Balanced Living” group - all about eating better and living better, whether you rock the bikini or not.
Make sure to link http://balancedliving.gather.com and http://blog.parentbloggers.com somewhere in your post. Also, please include the following blurb:
“This post was written for Parent Bloggers Network as part of a sweepstakes sponsored by BOCA.”
Then email us the link to your post at parentbloggers@gmail.com.
We’ll be linking them up on our blog all weekend long, so be creative with your title!

TANKINI TOP WITH A SWIMSKIRT !
This sound’s so funnn!!! Keep on the sunnyside all : )
I like to go swimming in a one piece suit, bandeau or bikini, but if I’m in the river, I’m leaving the shoes on!
What a lovely idea, and I would love to win.
Shorts that are really a swimsuit and tank top bathing suit. Comfortable and appropriate for anywhere and no worries about anything hanging out
This mom who shoulder deep in toddler swimming lessons wears a one piece with a swim skirt!
I have an O-o-o-o-old Jantzen one-piece that’s black on the bottom and has a subdued blue print on the top. I tell myself it gives the illusion that I’m slimmer.
I lie to myself like that all the time.
I usually wear a two-piece swimsuit. Thank you for the giveaway!
When i get to actually GO swimming its in the creek, so my attire is a tank-top and shorts. Unfortunatly, most of my “swimming” is usually confined to the backyard garden hose and plastic pool with my kids. LOL
I wear a bikini… need to work on that body though
Definitely could find a use for the gift cards….
Gift Cards are the greatest!

I wear a one piece with a swim skirt. The skirt helps me feel more comfortable when I get out of the pool.
I currently wear a one piece swim skirts and hope to wear a tankini one day soon. I really need a new swimsuit for our cruise in September so pick me…. LOL.
I have several one piece skirted suits in various Hawaiian prints that I cover up with some pareos that I made several years ago. I’m also a firm believer in swim shoes. Thanks for the contest!

The world is not ready to see me in a two piece bathing suit! Seriously, eyes could be damaged! I am a firm believer in the skirt suit, a coverup, and avoiding crowded places!!!
