Diaper Goop - It works!
Ten out of ten parent bloggers agree - Diaper Goop really does work.
Based on the comments we’ve received on our Diaper Goop launch and mid-campaign posts, it seems a lot of parents shop around where it comes to diaper rash creams. What works for one child doesn’t always work for another, and no product is a surefire solution. As one mother put it: “…with three kids I still hadn’t found one product that I was very happy with.“ But it looks like Diaper Goop is as close as it gets to a unanimous thumbs up from all parents - and their poor, rashy kiddos.
Considering how rough diaper rash can be, I applaud these parents for letting go of their old standbys in order to give Diaper Goop a try. One blogger told us, “I laid off the preventative smearing at diaper change time and let [my daughter's] undercarriage get a little rusty before slathering on a fingerful of Diaper Goop at bedtime.“ She continued, “Bottom line? It works. By morning [my daughter's] diaper rash was gone. And for the past month I’ve been using Diaper Goop exclusively and still no rash.” Another mother had a similar experience. “…it really does work in treating and preventing diaper rash. It wasn’t an overnight solution but [my daughter's] diaper rash was gone within a couple of days.”
Two other bloggers agreed. The first one noted: “I apply it every night to [my daughter's] sweet little derriere so that even though she might still wake up with a poopy diaper, she doesn’t get a diaper rash.“ And the second told us, “[My daughter] gets rashes easily due to allergies, and since I have been using Diaper Goop she hasn’t had a bad rash.”
Apart from its effectiveness, the bloggers commented on the ingredients, consistency, and scent of Diaper Goop. One noted: “…it has no zinc oxide so I’m betting it’s good for cloth dipes.“ Another compared it to Lansinoh - a product that nursing mothers are familiar with. “Diaper Goop and Lansinoh share the common ingredient of lanolin, a hypoallergenic ointment that is readily absorbed into the skin and can be used to treat all kinds of skin irritation like chapped lips and dry elbows.“ A third described it this way: “It’s got a color and consistency kind of like soft, slightly sticky Vaseline, and it smells slightly medicinal…“ The second mother felt the same way about the scent: “I admit it takes a bit of getting used to not having the baby powder scent, but it works so well that I’ve decided it’s worth it.”
As before, the bloggers found that Diaper Goop works well on other body parts too. “I found that Diaper Goop not only helped keep his skin free of those dreaded red bumps, but it also made it very soft. Seeing this made me think that it could work on my less than beautiful feet and I was right. I would smooth the Diaper Goop on my feet before I went to bed and then cover them with cotton socks.”
And although most of the bloggers lauded the tub versus tube - “I can’t stand dealing with a tube and trying to make sure I get everything out of the bottom, as I try to hold down a two year old who is trying to flee the scene.” - one prefers a tube: “…it would be a little more convenient and the creme wouldn’t get under my nails.”
Hands down and diapers off, Diaper Goop successfully battled rashes and kept them away. Buy it online at the company website, and tell them to bring it to a store near you!
Congrats to our Diaper Goop winners, Carrie and Tiffany! And thanks to everyone who entered the giveaway - many more to come!
