Diaper Goop - Campaign Launch

Diaper rash might seem to be one of those trite worries created for marketing purposes, like dishpan hands or ring around the collar. But ask any mother who has changed a bawling baby with a blistered behind - it’s enough to make us cry ourselves. Diaper rash can be a real problem, and the standard lineup of creams isn’t always successful at stopping it.

Diaper Goop is a lanolin-based cream developed by a pharmacist for a customer who was constantly battling diaper rash with her twins. It’s available over the counter and is sold mainly online, but also in select stores in the southern US.

Ten of our bloggers received samples of Diaper Goop to try, and they’ll report back on how well it worked for their diaper-clad kiddos. Check out their reviews and giveaways - you can try out Diaper Goop too!

  1. They make Diaper Goop around the Little Rock, AR, Area. When I gave birth at Baptist Med Center LR, this is what the had in the changing area for my girl. It always worked well for us! (I loved supporting them because they were local, too.)

  2. I like Butt Paste, but am always willing to try something new.

  3. We use A & D, but I’d love to try this!

  4. We use desitin creamy, my mom used it on me when I was little. great giveaway, thanks!

  5. Second for Butt Paste.

  6. Boudreaux’s Butt Paste, but I’d love to try Diaper Goop!

  7. We like Butt Paste too.

  8. I would love to try this - we’ve been battling some really bad diaper rash (blisters and all) and nothing has really been a magic bullet. The best stuff we tried was the Medela Lanolin ointment which is meant for breastfeeding. So the fact that this Diaper Goop is lanolin based is really attractive to me. Hope I win! Thanks.

  9. I’ve never heard of this brand. sounds good :)

  10. We mostly use Desitin Creamy, but for serious rashed, Triple Paste is great too!

  11. It has always been different for each of my girls…Butt Paste was the only thing that worked for our oldest, Vaseline and Lansinoh breast cream for the middle one (crazy, I know…breast cream for diaper rash?). The little one has only had one mild diaper rash so far and Vaseline cleared it up in a day…would love to try this one…

  12. I like Burt’s Bees Diaper Rash Cream. A lanolin based cream sounds good all over baby, not just bottom. Would love to try it.

  13. I like Butt Paste and Arbonne Herbal diaper rash cream.

  14. I use the Mustela diaper cream. But would love to tey this one as I heard so much about this!! Thanks for the give away.

  15. We usually use whatever is on sale, but Desitin seems to be what we have most of.

  16. I’ve been using penaten but I’m always willing to try something new!

  17. I don’t think there is any diaper cream I swear by, so I’m looking for something!

  18. I use A & D and it works well. I’d love to try something different on my baby. I had never heard of this brand before. Thanks for the chance!

  19. I use Desitin original. It cures the nastiest rashes almost overnight.

i would love to win the goop thanks jenny9675309@yahoo.com

  21. Butt Paste user…no strong smell and worked fast. But, I’ve heard of Diaper Goop and would love to try it. Haven’t found it other than online.

  22. My pediatrician recommended Dr. Smith’s and it’s all I’ve used. The stuff is fantastic, but it’s made in San Antonio, so I’m not sure if you can get it outside Texas. We’re moving soon and expecting our second, so I sure hope so!

  23. Actually… i was recomended Butt paste.. but when the twins got their first rash, less than a month ago.. Desitin worked miracles on one, and regular ole petroleum jelly for the other… :) i’d love to try Diaper Goo

  24. I have always liked Aveeno DIaper cream.

  25. I swear by Dr. Smith, but am always up for trying new products!

  26. I use the store brand, Peneten-style

  27. We use the Boudreaux’s Butt Paste around here too. I like having a tube in the diaper bag and a tub at home.
I’d love to try the Diaper Goo!

  28. We use Desitin and sometimes it works and other times takes quite awhile. Would love to try this out.

  29. We usually use Aveeno diaper cream but I would love to try this out.

  30. Actually Aquaphor has been working wonders, mixed with hydrcortisone if we suspect yeast :)
So much for “real” diaper creams, but we do use A&D or Desitin ointment if that’s what is around…

  31. We love A & D but the PUMP, no tubs or tubes. The pump is wonderful and worth every penny of the extra cost. Tubs are a second choice. Tubes are a huge pain in the um, bum.

  32. I’ve used Desitin, both original and creamy (creamy better to use), good old Vaseline, but when I tried Mustela, I really liked Mustela’s Vitamin Barrier Cream. Most of the time if it’s a mild case of diaper rash, Vaseline works fine. This sounds really interesting and would love to try it out

  33. I haven’t found any cream that works the best for my son. Everything I have used he complains that it burns. I am always looking for a great diaper rash cream. I would love the chance to try this!!!

  34. We tried so many in the beginning: Balmex, Desitin (both versions), A&D (both versions). Used Desitin for a long time until my son’s rashes got so violent he was screaming with pain and bleeding. The Dr. recommended the Butt Paste, so we’ve been using that ever since. And letting him run around naked A LOT. Because “accidents” to clean up are FAR better than him being in intense pain.

Needless to say, I’d LOVE to see if this helps my boy.

We now use Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. But, we have tried a lot of
different one’s. Our little one gets burns real bad with a lot of pain also. This sounds like it would be a good one for us to try.

  36. I’m old school. I still use A&D (brown and blue).

  37. [...] on the comments we’ve received on our Diaper Goop launch and mid-campaign posts, it seems a lot of parents shop around where it comes to diaper rash [...]
