The Teen Whisperer - Campaign Launch

No matter how well-behaved a teen may be, nor how understanding his or her parents may be, I don’t think it’s possible to escape the teen years without conflict. By the very nature of that time - specifically, the physical and emotional changes that teens endure - there’s bound to be a struggle as teens work toward complete independence.

This struggle is amplified when teens are troubled, such as those that Mike Linderman counsels. Cattle rancher, licensed counselor, and father to three teens, Linderman wrote The Teen Whisperer - a guidebook for parents seeking to communicate effectively with their own teens - based on the methodology he uses as a therapist.

While most of our parent bloggers have younger children, we do have a few with teens and tweens, and they were very interested in checking out The Teen Whisperer. Their own children may not be troubled, but it seems that almost all parents are interested in improving those relationships - or even just heading off potential problems before they start.

Whether your children are toddlers or tweens, I expect these bloggers’ reviews of The Teen Whisperer will be informative reading.

  2. Mike, your book is exceptional! I am so glad I got the chance to review it. Thank you so much!

  3. Mike, I need your help. Please help me. I feel like if I was blind. I don’t know what to do. I have no one to talk to but my husband and he is in Iraq right now. I am losing control of my son. He is 15 and he uses marihuana. I’ve tried everything, punishing him, taking everything away from him, giving him all my attention, loving him, hugging him (even though he hates it), telling him how important he is for me…but nothing works… he is slipping away from my fingers. I’ve been praying so hard but it seems that God is not listening, I am very desperate. Mike, please help him.Please. I beg you. Please.

  5. Tracey,
Your review was very kind. I pray that the information I provided will assist many families. I have been blessed with the ability to connect with kids, I feel I can take very little credit for what God has given, but I feel it is my duty to share it. Once again, thank you for your kindness.
