Have you ever thought about what you would do if you were put in a position that you had to do something for your kids that questioned your ethical and moral beliefs?
Would you tell a lie to get them what they want or steal to get them what they need? How does parenting affect your ethical and moral compass?
We’re partnering up with Harper Collins and their new mystery fiction Dangerous Admissions from author Jane O’ Connor that brings up the issue:
How far would you go for your kids?
Bloggers from all over the blogosphere are sharing their thoughts on the issue and we invite you to join us. Click here for the rules and make sure to get your post up by Midnight PST tonight.
A random entrant will win a $200 Visa Check card and five runners up will get a free copy of the book. And if you are one of the first five folks to put the widget up on your blog and email us, you’ll win a copy of the book! (Hurry!)

Hey Carny! Stop yelling at my kid!
How far would you go for your kids?

We’ve got another contest coming up - all about the wacky warning labels we find on everything from toothbrushes to power tools. With all of the real safety concerns out there, do we really need to be told that we shouldn’t take a hair dryer into the shower?
The growing number of frivolous lawsuits have prompted manufacturers to cover all their bases where it comes to warning labels on products. These labels may be funny, but lawsuit abuse costs all of us money. Let’s bring common sense back.
Start by checking out Sick of Lawsuits, a website dedicated to fighting lawsuit abuse and educating consumers on tort reform. It’s a great way to begin learning more about this important issue.
Then get involved in our contest. Between now and midnight PST on Friday, October 19, post a picture of the wackiest warning label on any product or item you can find at home or in a store. It has to be a picture that you took yourself - nothing you swiped from Google. Check out items used around the home, in the garage or on toy packaging - you never know where some kind of crazy warning will show up.
In your post, link back to Sick of Lawsuits (http://www.sickoflawsuits.com) and PBN (http://blog.parentbloggers.com). Then email us with a link to your post. We’ll round up all the posts here on PBN that Friday, October 19, and an expert panel of judges from Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse (http://www.cala.org) will determine which ones are the wackiest.
What can you win? Cash, of course! One grand prize will be awarded - a $200 VISA/MC check card - and three runner-up prizes - $100 VISA/MC check cards.
And don’t forget to grab our Wacky Warning Label Contest button code for your own site:
