You don’t have to be the parent of a pack of teenagers to find it difficult to make family time. With the professional and household demands that most families face nowadays, even parents of young children struggle to carve out some time to just play together.

But how does a video game console figure into family time? Don’t most kids (or, let’s be honest, parents too) zone out, glassy-eyed and solitary, in front of video games?

Electronic Arts and the new Wii video game “Boogie” are changing the perception of family gaming. With Boogie, no one will be lounging on the couch. Instead, the whole family will be singing and dancing, laughing and cheering. Because no matter how young or old you are, this game is fun for everyone. Even those who aren’t gamers will find themselves asking for a turn with the mic.
