Tales From the School Cafeteria: School Menu & Family Everyday
As if school wasn’t hard enough, you had to deal with lunch in the cafeteria — where relationships were made and broken, where lunches were shared or ripped off, and where Cafeteria Ladies offered what might just be the best tasting pizza around.
In conjunction with School Menu and its parental counterpart Family Everyday, we’ve enlisted the help of some fabulous parent bloggers from around the blogosphere to share with us their stories from the school cafeteria — either their own memories or their kids. Either way, there’s bound to be some meaty tales (heh). It’s a great way to meet new bloggers and share your words with folks that might be looking for a new treat (okay, sorry with the puns).
If you’ve got your own fabulous food fight triumph or unrequited love story over your tater tots and ham sandwich, feel free to participate. Send us your link (parentbloggers@gmail.com) and we’ll put you up on this page.
And make sure to stop by School Menu and Family Everyday. Both sites work together with School Food Service Directors to provide healthy lunches for kids, as well as provide education in fitness and nutrition. You can sign up for the informative weekly Family Everyday newsletter and get your school’s menu submitted to the site!
