eHarmony Marriage Campaign Launch

If the thought “Maybe we should go see a therapist” has ever crossed your mind, you might want to continue reading. And even if you have the perfect marriage *ahem* you still should read on. Because really, what is the perfect marriage?

I’ve discussed the difficulties parenthood has presented in my marriage and I’m quite certain I’m not alone. For some people, it’s a few growing pangs and for others, it takes a huge toll.

But as a therapist myself, there are a few drawbacks to seeking out traditional marriage counseling.

- Scheduling — finding a babysitter to go to therapy plus working it in with two busy schedules can be difficult.

- Motivation — getting both parties to actually be motivated to go can present a challenge.

- Money — affording it (with or without insurance) can be a burden.

Of course, we all might have great intentions, but really, intentions only get you so far. Then you actually have to do something about it.

And thus, Parent Bloggers offers you reviews of a new service from eHarmony called “eHarmony Marriage.” It’s an online alternative to marriage counseling. And while that might seem like a contradiction, it also might be something that could offer you or someone you know, a great deal of help. The services range from personalized questionnaires to online videos to advice.

It’s not just for folks with problems — it’s also a way for happy couples to stay just that. HAPPY.

So, for the next two weeks, our bloggers will be checking out the eHarmony services and will be reporting back about how it worked for their relationships. And on June 13, the couple behind the program, Dr. and Dr. Les and Leslie Parrott will be joining me on the Motherhood Uncensored Blog Talk Radio show.
